    Now, let me begin by saying that I am a fan of the Archfiend archetype. Any of you who are at all familiar with me will know that I have, on several occasions, made attempts at creating a viable Archfiend deck, but to no avail. I tried about ten different decks with Archfiends as the only common thing between them. For all of my trying though, my dreams of a good Archfiend deck could not be realized, for they were lacking some very vital synergy. I wished for that synergy.

    But now, it would seem I no longer have to simply wish for that synergy!! New archfiend cards are to be let loose upon the world, and I rejoice, for the time has come that I can finally use my favourite, underrated theme again!! Happy days!!

    I'm glad they decided to revamp your favorite archetype, though I'm kinda confused about what they're doing with the new Archfiend cards. Since they originally had effects that dealt with coin tosses and paying LP, but none of the new ones really seem to help with their effects. They seem to just make it easier for you to swarm your field with Archfiends instead.

    But knowing you, little bro, I'm sure you'll find a way to work this all out.

    It's quite simple to meld the two with the new to great effect. While there's little to no emphasis placed upon the older effects, the newer ones can be used in beautiful combination with the greats like Mist Archfiend, Terrorking Archfiend, Shadowknight Archfiend, Skull Archfiend of Lightning and if you're especially sneaky, Darkbishop Archfiend. While the first four are wonderfully beatsticky and apply shields to themselves(bar Mist, who instead allows you to get a free 2400 atk point monster in tandem with Palace), Darkbishop adds said shield to every Archfiend on the field, which makes facing the newer one's an even scarier thought and thannks to the swarm capability, makes Terrorking FAR better than before. While the life point drain will put a strain on your gameplay, cards like Hate Buster now work in tandem with the theme even more beautifully than before, giving an extra edge to the already combo-heavy new additions.

    In summation? Sure, I'm not going to use Pandemonium, either of the Queens(I never used Infernalqueen anyway) or Desrook, but the rest of the oldies are even more golden than before!
